Would you know what to do in a medical emergency?
Following the installation of a public access defibrillator at Trafford Gardens, Barrow Parish Council would like to invite residents to a training session run by Ribble Valley First Responders.
The session will include training on what to do in a medical emergency, including how to recognise a heart attack, perform CPR and use a defibrillator. There will also be advice on how to help someone who is choking and how to respond to serious bleeding. Training is aimed at first aid novices – no medical knowledge required.
The training session will take place on Wednesday 27th June 2018, at 7pm at Barrow Primary School (main hall). It will last approximately an hour and is free to all Barrow residents. However, places are limited and must be booked in advance.
